From answering phone calls to arranging meetings and managing daily agenda, corporate life would come to a standstill without a secretary. A secretary prepares and circulates various forms of correspondence, forms as well as memos. In a Secretary Job, the candidate will be expected to take on the duties of administrative apart from clerical support so that work in the organization is not hindered and the workflow is optimized. Not only will the aspirant be required to assist colleagues and executives, but also plan and distribute information as and when the need arises. Acting as the point of reference for all queries and concerns, requests or problems, a candidate in a Secretary Job will be needed to be an essential part of the company's workforce. Filing and updating data such as contact information of not just employees, but also customers, suppliers and external partners are also part of the secretary' duties. S/he may be called upon to support and ensure that regular reports are completed on time and dispatched as need be. Developing as well as maintaining a filing system is also part of the secretary's KRA. Making travel schedules, identifying accommodation and catering to document expenses is part and parcel of the candidate's KPIs. With a know-how of office organization coupled with a fairly high degree of multi-tasking and time management skills will add to the candidate's profile.
