The OP Coder is responsible for assigning diagnostic and procedural codes to patient charts, of low to moderate complexity, using designated coding classification system in accordance with coding rules and regulations.
Identify appropriate assignment of CPT and ICD-9 Codes for Physician and facility services provided in an Observation service setting, and Inpatient setting. Perform Coding duties as appropriate according to pre-determined schedules.
