Job Description

  • Work closely with Account Executives and Managers across all Lines of Business nationally to maximize business opportunities for the client.
  • Create proposals and responses to RFx that provide customers with value solutions through the development of high-level solutions, including the creation of Bill of Materials, Scope of Works, WBS and detailed costing.
  • Maintain deep expertise in selected IT products, platforms, and technologies (Microsoft and/or Cisco); and maintain certifications as required.
  • Develop and deliver technical presentations with customers and tailor content to audience as appropriate.
  • Work with partners in crafting and delivering combined solutions as well as work with service delivery teams to ensure a seamless transition from pre to post sales
  • Engage with Professional Services for reviewing technical and project management requirements for projects
  • Maximise customer satisfaction through the development of trust and credibility
  • Assess and evaluate risk and understand the implications of new technologies
  • Build close working relationships with key client's Vendor partners
  • Clearly differentiate the client and the value of the solution offerings developed
  • Contribute to the development of new principles, concepts and innovative solutions
  • As required, participate in post-sales activities including project evaluations
  • Attend customer and vendor events
  • Strong IT/Technical Presales experience in a customer facing role
  • Minimum of 5 years industry experience within defined area of expertise
  • Demonstrated experience in the assessment and communication of the value of IT Solutions to clients
  • Experience in dealing with personnel, customer and supplier issues
  • Demonstrated work history of ethical business practice
  • Effective oral and written communication skills to ensure clear and accurate communication with all stakeholders
  • Demonstrated skills in developing valued relationships with clients, suppliers, and industry leaders
  • Effective negotiation and problem resolution skills to achieve win/win situation
  • Demonstrated experience in a broad range of field work
  • Ability to present to business and technical audiences
  • Ability to contribute to the overall goals of the organization
  • Ability to logically break down and diagnose issues in the field
  • Certifications
  • Certification in vendor technologies defined within the specified solution set desirable (eg. Microsoft, Cisco, HPe, Aruba)
