Job Description: Systems Analyst (SA)
A System Analyst (SA) is an integral member of the Five9 Customer Support Operations team and works under the Systems & Development Team that provides critical thinking and problem-solving skills. The position requires research, generate innovative designs, and implement solutions to optimize business and system processes. An SA participates in research, design document system processes and identify potential issues and process gaps. An SA also assists the Project Management team in all phases of CS Operations standard project management methodology. These activities may include the definition of needs, benefits, and technical strategy research & development within the project lifecycle technical analysis and design and support in executing, testing, and rolling-out solutions.
Responsibilities:
  • Analyze the structure of a current business and system processes, how it uses technology and what its goals are
  • identify problems within the current and proposed business and system processes, including through using data modelling techniques
  • Formulate ways for business operations to improve, based on previous research
  • Create and design system process workflows
  • Oversee the implementation of new system processes
  • Create technical documentation of current and future system processes
  • Ability to work with other departments to validate information or leverage them for a task within an active project
  • Participate in projects activated by CS Operations or the Customer Support Organization with the role assigned to SD
  • Ability to accept ad hoc tasks as requested by the Customer Support Organization
