What's on the menu for you to do:
We're looking for a highly driven, passionate and knowledgeable Social Media Assistant Manager to join the local marketing team in the Philippines. If you are looking for a fast-paced environment where you can help to grow the voice and social media channels of a brand, then this may be the place for you. Reporting to the Offline & Online Marketing Comms Lead, this is a really exciting and challenging role.
Overview
The Assistant Manager for Communities supports the Social Communities Manager in managing foodpanda's online presence through development and implementation of content on the brand's social media pages and social communities to increase brand awareness and build brand loyalty.
Social Media (Facebook, Instagram, Viber)
    • Together with Social Communities Manager, manages social media content calendar--works with content and design team for the creation of all assets for social media release and monitors timely release and performance
    • Coordinates and works closely with other Marketing Channels to strategize ad optimize content using the company's social media pages
    • Stay up to date with latest social media trends

Social Communities (Facebook Group, Twitter, TikTok)
    • Assist in implementing campaigns that will contribute to the growth of the brand's engagement channels with the assistance of third-party agencies
    • Work closely with other Marketing Channels to support and amplify campaigns using the company's social communities channels
    • Engage and build loyalty from foodpanda's audience

Communities Reply Management
    • Monitors and coordinates with third party agency handling replies management in the brand's social media and social communities channel
    • Work on ways to engage the digital community through communities replies

Social Listening
  • Consistently report and interpret data on the SOV and sentiments of the brand against its competitors through social listening tools
  • Internal Community
  • Provide assistance in communicating to employees the latest updates about the brand through a weekly newsletter

What you bring to the table:

  • A graduate of any course in the field of communication and/or marketing
  • 1-2 years in the Social Media/Digital Marketing field, preferably with experience working with or at an agency
  • Good understanding of social media marketing industry and awareness on current social media trends/best practices,
  • Strong written and oral communications skills skewed to lifestyle/social media
  • Creative but clear and concise communicator
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Must be detail-oriented and with good problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills and time management skills and
  • Able to multitask and manage priorities
  • Self-motivated, target oriented, and results-driven
  • Team player
