As the SEO Manager, you will be responsible for leading the SEO strategy and execution of content-driven organic initiatives to acquire new customers efficiently and at scale. Our ideal candidate is both analytical and creative. You are a natural problem solver with a passion for driving toward key metrics and uncovering new opportunities to maximize inbound traffic and engagement.
Responsibilities and Duties Within 3 months, you will:
- Assess our current SEO program and work quickly to define our short-term and long-term SEO strategy.
- Introduce yourself to team members, stakeholders and collaborators you will be working with
- Learn our marketing, web development, and content processes
- Develop an understanding of our target customers, business, and competitors and identify opportunities for SEO
Within 6 months, you will:
- Drive a cross-functional team of writers & web development resources to improve organic discoverability of our web properties and turn SEO into a powerful acquisition engine.
- Lead all SEO related projects including ongoing keyword and competitive research, content creation, landing page optimization, backlink building, etc.
- Manage external SEO partners to continue to drive performance and results
- Redefine and evolve key SEO performance metrics to systematically track and improve search performance
- Partner with the broader Marketing team to implement SEO recommendations while ensuring all content is on-brand, accurate and compliant.
- Build out a content marketing SEO strategy that will utilize existing content as well as produce new content to reach and convert new customers
- Become the SEO owner of 45+ acute-care websites to lead continuous optimization and experimentation efforts
Within 12 months, you will:
- Grow SEO into a meaningful channel to drive organic growth to our websites
- Build an efficient process and organizational SEO awareness/education to maximize the impact of SEO
- Stay on top of key trends and best practices in search engine algorithms, competitive landscape, and the industry to develop winning strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-departmental home office and in-market teams to identify opportunities to drive growth from both a marketing and service line perspective
Required:
- 8+ years of SEO experience; 2-3 years of marketing experience in a fast-paced tech environment.
- Data-driven. You love to dig into the data to understand trends, generate hypotheses, and scale successful findings.
- Creative. You collaborate well with cross-functional teams and get excited about trying new ideas.
- Organized and accountable. You have very high attention to detail and are quick to follow up and follow through.
- Experience working with BI and SEO tools including: SEMRush, Screaming Frog, Siteimprove, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google BigQuery and Google Data Studio.
- Preference will be given to candidates experience with Sitefinity CMS and Marketo Marketing Automation system and has SEO certification
