Job Description

As part of Groworx’ Digital Marketing Team, Senior Social Media Specialists is responsible for building and maintaining loyal customer fan bases online. You will be responsible for growing active and engaged communities that will have a direct effect on brand-building efforts of Groworx and its clients. You will manage Groworx and client accounts across multiple social platforms, developing a unique and identifiable voice for each and ensuring cross-channel brand consistency.
Your main goal is to establish and maintain the relationship with a group of individuals or customers that would serve as our brand advocates.

You will do
  • Oversee the strategy and development of all social platforms (Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, YouTube, etc.), including publishing/editorial calendars and influencer partnerships
  • Oversee social content strategy and development, from always-on programs to launch campaigns
  • Lead planning and development of content assets across social and blog platforms with a focus on storytelling, thumb-stopping content, and video- collaborating closely with the Creative team to ensure alignment with the brand look and feel
  • Manage briefings/relationships with social and community brand partners and vendors for all social programs
  • Track and monitor KPIs in real-time to adjust or pivot strategies, tactics and content development as needed; synthe analytics to inspire new ideas (coordinated with the data team)
  • Work with DMS teams to standardize KPIs (i.e. social following, engagement, etc.), and re-evaluate for new metrics if needed- provide learnings and share insights
  • Serve as client’s key social strategist and subject matter expert- staying up-to-date on emerging and future trends, whether within or outside of the industry to help identify or grow business opportunities
  • Understand and advocate early adoption of relevant new platforms and technologies, consistently bringing them to the team for brainstorming or execution to further business objectives
  • Ensure that people talking to the brands’ social assets are engaged well, identifying brand advocates for future opportunities
  • Work closely with Inside Sales team to for possible sales leads
You should have
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in digital environments with a focus on social, content and digital campaign development, preferably within an agency setting
  • Great knowledge of various social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Youtube etc
  • Great knowledge of various publishing tools like Sprout Social, Hootsuite and more
  • Ability to conduct research, create social posts, and coordinate content and graphics with cross-functional teams
  • Results-driven with the ability to analyze data and deduce implications for social and engagement strategies
  • Business to business experience is preferred
  • Excellent writing, editing, presentation and communication skills
  • Strong creative sense with a keen eye for pop culture and trends
  • Proven community engagement record
  • Online/Offline events management/coverage experience
  • Public Relations knowledge
  • Copywriting and graphic design skills are a plus
