Essential Functions
Analyze the Alerts and check for correlation
o Monitors dashboards round-the-clock which function as an eye to the whole STI Infrastructure, from which the NOC Engineers will be able to detect any impending hardware failures, voice and data network failures or security threats and to identify the root cause of any existing or impending events.
Monitoring the events real time
o Monitors and surveils all infrastructure from site level up to the global level.
o Monitors any changes in the infrastructure, or any issue that may impact the IT environment.
Documentation and reporting
o Prepare weekly and monthly Alert report
o Prepare weekly and monthly Health report
Coordinate all SOC events
o Acknowledge all the SOC events
o Analyze the SOC events and gather detail information
o Escalate the event to Functional Group
Engaging in on-call rotation shifts 24/7 whenever necessary
Monitor the change events
o Disable the alerts and alarms at the start of the change event for impacted devices
o During the change event closely monitor the rest of the infrastructure to detect any impact
o Enable the alerts and alarms after the completion of change event
Secondary Functions
Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and able to handle multiple support cases
Strong writing skills to maintain organized documentation
Customer-oriented, and capable of providing high levels of client satisfaction
Education and/or Experience
Graduate or Equivalent Degree in Information Technology or Diploma in Information Technology
4+ years technical experience ideally in L1/L2 technical support.
Experience working in a NOC monitoring and Helpdesk teams
Acquainted with ITIL framework.
Excellent understanding of technologies, operating systems, networking, anti-virus, back-ups, firewalls, and compliance
Good working knowledge of Office products (MS Word, MS Excel)

Fluent English: written, verbal, and comprehension
Must be able to exchange information with all levels of internal and external customers
Ability to work on a variety of tasks in parallel
Flexible in 24/7 Shifts
