Company Information:

The Client is an online tour guide platform that enables anyone to join, create and manage self-guided experiences.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Defines site objectives by analyzing user requirements; envisioning system features and functionality
• Integrates applications by designing database architecture and server scripting; studying and establishing connectivity with network systems, search engines, and information servers
• Completes applications development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities; contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms
• Supports users by developing documentation and assistance tools
• Develop software applications with regular tests and maintenance
• Design and build UX/UI interfaces and user flows
• Code primarily in JavaScript and react
• Implement back end system that has the potential to be scalable
• Evaluate and implement advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks as needed (eg. React or Angular)

Must Haves:

At least 2 years experience in Mobile App Development (iOS or Android)
At least 2 years experience in Dev/Opp - scalable development (eg: AWS or GCP)
Completed a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Software Engineer
Has an adept skills and knowledge in mobile app development
Has a deep understanding in the following:
• Back-end Dev (eg. Node JS, Python)
• Databases (eg. SQL, MySQL, PostGres)
• DevOps (eg. AWS or GCP)
• Mobile App Dev (eg. React Native, Android/IOS)
• Version Management Tools (eg. Git)
Has proven track record of developing software, web applications using JavaScript
Strong understanding of compatibility issues across browsers
Background in performing QA tests alongside development
Excellent verbal and written communication
Future and Current Performance Goals:
• Work within an agile team
• Adjust quickly to changing priorities and requirements
• Pivot to fill a range of roles within the company

Work Schedule: 9:00am - 5:00pm Australian Eastern Standard Time

Home Office Requirements
