About the job Senior Metrics and Reports Analyst

This position is responsible for supporting the production of day to day operational metrics, performance indicators and reports/dashboards for assigned business work stream(s). It is also responsible for providing business partners key insights and analytics as to their operational performance against strategic deliverables and/or targets. This position will also be responsible for presenting operational performance data to executive leadership. The Sr. Metrics Analyst will serve as a data expert in their assigned work steam and will be responsible for maintaining strong partnerships with key stakeholders to ensure dashboards and reports are evolving as business processes and associated measures evolve. This role is also responsible for supporting the growth of the Global Metrics platform by assisting with data validation and testing and from time to time providing input into requirements.

. Create and Update Reports on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly basis to support Global Operations leveraging Excel
. Create and maintain dashboards for Global Operations and Executive Leadership leveraging current enterprise data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau)
. Respond to internal queries regarding data contained in reports within agreed upon service levels for timeliness and quality
. Troubleshoot issues with reports and partner with relevant teams to resolve data and technical issues
. Respond to ad-hoc data requests by reviewing the data requests to identify and understand the information needed, pulling the data efficiently from data sources across multiple platforms and providing data back to the requestor in a user-friendly display
. Develop and deliver executive presentations reviewing operational performance of the assigned workstream
. Provide statistical and data analysis to support the assigned workstream
. Perform peer quality reviews by checking data and reports for accuracy with extreme attention to detail
. Monitor operational performance, deliver trend analysis and make recommendations to drive achievement of operational goals and strategic objectives
. Support the growth of the Global Metrics platform by performing data validation and testing
. Identify and initiate process improvements to align team's capabilities with current and future need
. Maintain strong partnerships with key stakeholders within the assigned workstream(s) through demonstrating a deep understanding of their business processes
. Identify and deliver CI/Automation projects

Qualifications:

. B.A. / B.S. or equivalent work experience required
. Must have at least 2 years of work experience in a reporting/analytics role(s)
. Lean Six Sigma or RPA/BPM experience preferred
. Comprehensive understanding of editorial or customer operations data and associated business processes
. Proven analytical, quantitative and deductive reasoning skills
. Demonstrated experience in defining and/or creating reporting for operations, performance or risk
. Demonstrated SQL, Tableau, Excel and Powerpoint experience
. Strong working knowledge of database structures and associated reporting platforms
. Teradata experience preferred
. Strong communication skills required
. Extreme attention to detail absolutely required
. Demonstrated ability to embrace change
. Experience in an agile or growth work environment
