The delivery incorporates industry-aligned methodologies in an offshore environment whereby world-class talent is developed through mature standards and processes. The Oracle Utilities Global Delivery Consulting group continues to improve its core delivery value proposition through the recruitment and development of top talent.
  • Convert complex Technical Design specifications into high quality working code within agreed budgets and time frames.
  • Convert simple to moderate Functional Design specifications into Technical Design that will be used by a developer to build code.
  • Prepare unit test plan and unit test cases. Perform unit testing of programs according to defined process using the unit test plan and unit test cases.
  • Ensure the quality of one's own deliverables through adherence to project standards and methodologies. Perform quality assurance reviews of code written by peers or junior developers.
  • Assist architects, designers, team lead or project manager in producing detailed estimates of development effort.
  • Provide support during system testing, user acceptance testing, Go-Live and maintenance support phases.
  • Assist in the clarification and resolution of issues as they arise during the design and development process.
  • Assist in the project team's release activities and in the review and sign-off of release deliverables.

Position-specific Requirements
  • Experience inOracle Utilities products is required (e.g. Customer Care & Billing (CC&B), Meter Data Management (MDM), Mobile Workforce Management (MWM), Work and Asset Management (WAM)).
  • Open as well to candidates with experience in JAVA OR Oracle SOA/BPEL Development

Intermediate consulting position operating independently with some assistance and guidance to provide quality work products to a project team or customer that comply with Oracle methodologies and practices. Performs standard duties and tasks with some variation to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer specifications.

Standard assignments are accomplished without assistance by exercising independent judgment, within defined policies and processes, to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements.

2-5 years of overall experience in relevant functional or technical roles. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.
