Job Description

As the Senior Manager of Human Resources, you will join a dynamic, fast-paced, purpose-driven organization to lead the diverse, proactive, high energy Human Resources and Talent Acquisition function at Groworx. You will partner with strong, focused leadership teams to delight our clients, engage and develop our team, and support our community.
You will be responsible for implementing HR strategies that support our purpose-driven culture, our expansion plans, and engaging our team members by offering best in class Human Resource policies and programs. You will attract the best candidates, maintaining and improving employment policies, managing benefits and compensation, while monitoring employee relations. As the Senior Manager of Human Resources, you will be instrumental in aiding our company expansion and working with our global leaders to fulfil organizational objectives and implement effective strategies to drive our growth and people performance. To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strategic thinking abilities, strong organizational skills with a combination of Human Resources mastery and industry knowledge.


You will do
  • Develop organization strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues; contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to organization strategic thinking and direction; establishing human resources objectives in line with organizational objectives.
  • Manage the TA team for recruitment of high performing and aligned cultural workforce
  • Analyze wage and salary reports and data to determine competitive compensation plan.
  • Write directives advising department managers of Company policy regarding equal employment opportunities, compensation, and employee benefits.
  • Consult legal counsel to ensure that policies comply with federal and state law.
  • Develop and maintain a human resources system that meets top management information needs.
  • Oversee the analysis, maintenance, and communication of records required by law or local governing bodies, or other departments in the organization.
  • Identify legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance. Study legislation, arbitration decisions, and collective bargaining contracts to assess industry trends.
  • Write and delivers presentations to corporate officers or government officials regarding human resources policies and practices.
  • Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward Company goals.
  • Keep records of benefits plans participation such as insurance and pension plan, personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting.
  • Coordinate management training in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, safety, and sexual harassment.
  • Advise management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Administer performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within the organization. Manages the salary administration program to ensure compliance and equity within the organization.
  • Administer benefits programs such as HMO, vacation leave, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance.
  • Investigate accidents and prepares reports
  • Conducts wage surveys within labour market to determine competitive wage rate.
  • Prepares a budget of human resources operations.
  • Prepare employee separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.
  • Prepares reports and recommends procedures to reduce absenteeism and turnover.
  • Represents the organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations.
You should have
  • Minimum of 13 years experience in Human Resources/General HR, with at least 8 years of managing a global or BPO HR function.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking, problem-solving and employee relation abilities,
  • Demonstrated maturity and experience in maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality and coaching skills
  • Ability to communicate unpleasant news and difficult information in a productive, prompt and appropriate manner
  • Ability to address personnel issues in a confidential, professional manner,
  • Ability to interview and select staff. Coaches, mentors and motivates others to achieve goals,
  • Evaluates operational and client needs in relation to recruiting and associate relations goals
  • Develops and implements action plans,
  • Works closely with the Head of Operations to meet site goals and improve employee retention,
  • Analyzes past performance and recommends appropriate actions,
  • Ability to ensure legal and policy compliance with the support of the Employee Relations Team,
  • Acts as a change agent supporting the move to a People First environment,
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with management, associates, peers, the general public and clients,
  • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality,
  • Ability to identify problems, evaluate facts and formulate sound solutions,
  • Coaches associates and management in associate relations and effective performance management,
  • Recommends solutions and follows up as needed,
  • Basic understanding of all HR functions,
  • Basic understanding of regulations and legal requirements applying to employment and hiring.
  • Willing to work on a shifting schedule, holidays and weekends
  • Demonstrated desire to work sustainably in Alabang
