Thomson Reuters is looking for a highly skilled individual who combines solid technical Skills with a high degree of business insight for the position of Senior Engineer Ping-Identity, within our Identity and Access Management team. The IAM team at TR is completely transforming the entire identity landscape as a cornerstone of our security posture.
In this role, you will administrator a secure and scalable MFA solution. You will be responsible for driving the operational administration across our Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), CyberArk, and SSO/Federation solutions holistically evolve our security capability. You will focus on the administration and continuous operation improvement.
About the role
  • Experience in administration and implementing security in IAM technologies that consist of PingFederate, Ping Access, Ping ID, and LDAP directories.
  • Experience on implementing solutions using Single Sign on SAML vs TrustOAuth Kerberos and NTLM.
  • Configuring working experience in Ping Directory Server
  • Enabling and troubleshooting Single Sign On for applications
  • Must have good experience on MFA.
  • Implemented OpenID and OAuth solutions usingPing Federate.
  • Co-ordination with Server hosting team if any hardware related issues.
  • Co-ordination withPingFederatevendor if any software related issues.
  • Maintained both Test and Production servers for Ping Federate along with the cluster management and timely Replications to deploy changes to servers.
  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Deployed and supported highly available and scalable Ping Federate infrastructure in AWS and On-premise that provides single-sign-on (SSO) and federation solutions for internal accesses.
  • Ping Federate Performance tuning for supporting support heavy traffic.
  • Responsible for preparing documentation for each application also providing the Run Book to the Operations team to troubleshoot issues.
  • Experience with Vulnerability mitigation and patch management.
  • A self-starter capable of autonomous working direction and goal setting
  • Be valued and respected for collaboration integrity and enablement
  • Experience of developing and leading innovative solutions and thinking outside of the box
  • To be able to work both independently and with others documenting and sharing solutions
  • Handle the issues as a first level on the escalation support for Identity and Access management operational teams and other IT security functions
  • Good to have experience in patch version upgrades.

About you
  • 6+ years of experience in development, design, and implementing security in IAM technologies that consist of PingFederate, Ping Access, Ping ID, SiteMinder and LDAP directories.
  • Continuously improving and automating in IAM technologies that consist of PingFederate, Ping Access, Ping ID, SiteMinder and LDAP directories.
  • Experience in working on Ping federate 9.x,10.x, SAML 2.0, Oauth 2.0, OpenID/Connect (OIDC).
  • Technical experience integrating, developing, and automating IAM systems like MFA and Authentication protocols/technologies.
  • Deep understanding of Identity technologies across key domains (Authentication, Authorization, Access Management, Attestation, etc) -
  • Experience driving development of automation and integration capability into IAM solutions.
  • Consistent track record of customer engagement and delivery of engineering initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Cloud technology and an understanding of the impact of dynamic computing on the Identity domain.
  • Prior experience with technologies like SAML, LDAP, Kerberos, Unix, Microsoft AD, MFA, and Radius.
  • Demonstrated POCs for API security like integration with Open AM, Site Minder, OAuth 2.0, JWT token and certificate authentication.
  • Created the Federation service between Site Minder federated web services to Ping federate for classic migration of applications that are SAML and WS - FED based applications.
  • Experienced with multiple Ping Federate adapter's HTML form, x509, Kerberos, open token, referenced, ping ID and composite adapters.
  • Creating Adapters, Service Provider, and Identity Provider connections, replicating configuration archive, exporting Metadata, importing, and exporting SSL s using Ping Federate.
  • Installed and configured Ping Access servers, Gateways and Agent to protect the resources. Including in the new infrastructure were the installation of PingFederate and Ping Access
  • Worked on Ping Access Integration with Ping federate to Protect the applications using Ping Access Tokens.
  • Consistent track record of designing and engineering Identity and Authentication solutions in a large global enterprise.
