Job Description

The role
Thousands of new sellers onboard the platform every day, eager to learn how to start and grow their business.
This role is in charge of ensuring that the experience of the Seller from registration to uploading products is as seamless as possible. This person will design, re-engineer and continuously improve of the process to be able to have a superior seller journey.

Reporting
The role will report to Head of Business Development.

Key tasks and responsibilities
. Responsible in leading a team driving efficient and effective online marketing for sellers and ensuring a frictionless entry to the platform.
. Work with Local and Regional Product and Seller Operations teams to design registration flows, implement new process improvements and communicate clearly the new process to all internal and external stakeholders
. Work with Local and Regional Finance to establish framework and appropriate success measures on team's performance aligned with changing operating landscape
. Oversees end to end processes and ensures innovation in studying and opening new channels
. Drives availability of data visualizations for the team by close collaboration with Analytics team
. Uses autonomy to improve processes within the function propose new workstreams to bring performance to a new level.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Skills
. Demonstrated leadership skills in giving clear directions and guidance to a team
. Demonstrated strong project management, communication skills, and ability to operate independently. Lazada operates at a very fast pace and you'll need to manage your workload effectively in order to keep up.
. Proven experience in working with large amount of data/information, research, process excellence with ability to express complex data to simplified and concise workable information
. Willingness to learn and push for new ways of thinking able to influence other teams to be able to work on a common goal
. Team player with learning mindset. Willing to roll up sleeves, get out of own comfort zone to achieve KPIs.
. Experience in SQL is preferred.
. Preferred but not required: Graduate of courses in Economics, Statistics, Business Management, Industrial or Management Engineering
. Resilient, proactive and optimistic.
