About the LOB
Reviews Power-of-Attorney document (a legal document that indicates the powers that an individual wants to have the Power-of-Attorney agent to act on its behalf) and other supporting documents in order to add a Power-of-Attorney agent (a third party individual to act on behalf of the client based on the powers vested as indicated on the Power-of-Attorney document) to a specific Brokerage account.
About the Role

Internally known as Securities Operations Service Specialist 2. Provides processing support in terms of reviewing Power-of-attorney documents and other supporting documents for client request/s to add a Power-of-attorney agent to a specific Brokerage account.
Responsibilities:
  • The core responsibility of an SOSS2 is to deliver excellent customer service not only in reviewing/processing accounts with POA request/s, but also with recommending process improvements, reducing risks and helping out with research escalations
  • Coordinates with the following internal departments (Retail Legal, IRA Legal, Elderly Clients Initiatives) within Wells Fargo Advisors by submitting escalated emails based on varying instances
  • Handles Escalated cases regarding the following items sent through the POA escalations inbox or Agent desktop database

Market Skills and Certifications
Essential Qualifications
  • Completed least a 2nd year with no back subjects (Bachelor's degree) or finished 2-3 year Associate degree course
  • 3 years of working experience (back office support) in the BPO/Contact Center industry
  • Preferred background on compliance and legal documents review work and familiarity on different brokerage accounts
  • Preferred experience in Account Opening & Maintenance process
  • Preferred background in securities operations (e.g trade processing, trade booking, brokerage services, derivatives, fixed income, etc
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical and technical skills with ability to apply critical judgment and come up with effective decisions
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and proficiency for detailed documentation with ability to validate work
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Program
  • Ability to adapt to a fast paced environment and perform under pressure with a high motivation and able to meet stringent deadlines with strong sense of urgency and results and detail orientation
  • Ability to plan, prioritize and execute a body of work with minimal supervision
  • Exceptional research, data entry and exception handling skills
  • Flexibility to work in night shifts, or weekends/holidays if deemed necessary by the business
  • Possess an impeccable reputation for integrity, accuracy, consistency and business acumen.
