Job Description

CGI is seeking a Salesforce Consultant, a key member to our Salesforce Solutions practice, to deliver top notch implementation, customization, configuration and training services to CGI’s Salesforce customer base. In this role, you will collaborate with our customers to provide them a competitive advantage and business value through Cloud technology.
The Consultant will work with our clients to understand their business needs and help deliver value through technology using Salesforce.
The Consultant will deliver to CGI’s Salesforce customer base:
• Implementation, customization, configuration and training services.
• Design, estimate, present, and deliver technical solutions with clean, well-organized, and expressive code.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work with clients, on site or remotely, to understand their business processes and strategies as it relates to Salesforce.
• Research, evaluate, and implement existing applications and/or customized solutions for internal or client-facing projects
• Design, configure and deploy Salesforce to customers and customize modules to their specific business needs independently or with a team
• Reliably deliver Salesforce Administration solutions to clients, with minimal oversight
• Produce estimates at a component level
• Discover, document, and analyze key processes
• Build reports and dashboards, as needed, to gauge project success
• Provide training on new customizations or new implementations to customers
• May work on concurrent projects at various stages in their life cycle
• May participate on data conversions during project life cycle
• Effectively manage customer expectations and communicate status updates of projects to various stakeholders, i.e., internal CGI management, and external customers of varying levels of management
• Cultivate and nurture relationships w ith our clients through transparency, organization, and impeccable communication
• Deliver high quality, w ell tested code using SOLID design principals and enterprise design patterns within a given project timeline
• Manage customer conversations and drive technical solutions w ith technical and non-technical customers
• Work with clients to shape technical architecture and define project requirements to address their specific business needs
• Design, develop, and document solutions to meet technical requirements
• Delegate development work to other team members as needed and oversee that the build is done to according to standards and timeline
• Stay up to date on new Salesforce features/releases/products
• Participate in the solution development, implementation and project closeout remotely or at customer sites
• The primary point of contact for an incident ticket and works with L2, L3/Developers, Incident/Problem Managers, Solution Architects and the users during the course of ticket resolution.
• An administration and functional expert and are able to resolve complex tickets in a timely manner
• Takes ownership of the ticket and can drive the issue to resolution while working with other resources.
• Takes the lead in designing a functional solution based on client requirements
• Designs/tests for the assigned changes, following the applicable development guidelines and standards and documenting all work according to the development and maintenance policy
• Able to guide other members of the engagement in their effort to work on their ow n tickets or as part of their skills development
• Perform know ledge transfers and support onboarding of new team members
• Maintain working instructions, support, process and ways of working documentations
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent.
• Proficient in written and verbal communication in the English.
• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in Salesforce.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Proficient computer and technical skill.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good process mapping ability.
• Proactive, service minded and able to multi-task.
• Good interpersonal skills (empathy, verbal dexterity, etc.).
• Must be flexible with the ability to adapt to changes quickly and think conceptually.
