Description of the Role
Day to Day:
- The role is responsible for the quality assurance of the organization's logistical platformand ecosystems through continuous testing & validation of all applications of the group.
- Uphold and synchronize Quality documents and test-cases after every application or modular change be it in production environment or staging units.
- A keen eye for visual, cosmetic, logical and grammatical defects.
- Prepare new test cases to challenge delivered logical application flow.
- A thorough analyst in investigating data misrepresentation & inaccuracy.
- A strong communicator and assertive skills in dealing with 3rd party contractors relevant to quality and delivery issues.
Qualifications
Responsibilities
- 3-5 Years of experience in a Quality Assurance role
- Proficient knowledge in Postman, SoapUI, or other relevant web and API
- tools.
- Working knowledge & experience with REST/SOAP & JSON/XML
- Knowledgeable in Java, Angular, NodeJS, HTML, and CSS
- Experience with using Selenium and other tools to automate back-end, frontend, and API testing
- Familiar with agile software development methodologies
- Knowledge of Usability Factors in Human Computer Interaction
- Experience in Java web & API development a great advantage.
- Ability to work and adopt to sudden post deployment
- Highly analytical, creative and keen attitude to resolve issues
- Self-organized, detail-oriented and a critical thinker
Responsibilities
Day to Day:
- Coordinate concerns and issues on development tasks with the CTO and Line Manager
- Ensure assigned tasks, delivery, and deployment schedules are met
- Provide feedback as required on tasks, issues, and concerns on development teams
- Ensure all fixes, testing, and test-cases are followed-through, documented, and reported
- Provide analysis on troubleshooting production issues
- Provide assistance to close production problems
- Perform and execute testing tasks as per schedule
- Adhere to validate design, logic, data and contents specifically set as per organization's standard and branding.
- Provide proper documentation updates of test case versions
- Documentation of API input, output & logical specifications.
- Ensure Applications, API documentations are in-sync with corresponding
- Test-Case Documents.
- Automate testing
Reporting:
- Provide regular feedback & summary of open & closed defects.
- Provide RCAs for critical delays on testing
- Prepare monthly timesheet utilization report for self.
