A solution is the combined set of core products, configurations, customizations, and integrations that are implemented and maintained for a particular client. Broadridge manages such solutions as products.The project manager will be responsible for the successful delivery of client solutions. They will plan the project, lead it on a day-to-day basis, manage scope and be responsible for ensuring that it is delivered on time and to budget. A project manager will be responsible for running multiple projects in parallel.As a project manager, it is important to have a style that fosters teamwork and collaboration with various stakeholders and partners. You will be responsible for project visibility, communicating status to senior technology and business sponsors both internally and externally. You will also perform and report project risk assessments and manage client expectations to ensure ongoing project viability.Additionally, the project manager will set project priorities for the projects. They will also collaborate with all levels of the organization to ensure that the project advances on a regular and predictable cadence. They will also work closely with internal and external stakeholders/vendors to manage day-to-day activities and help remove blockers.Responsibilities
Ensure successful completion of projects on time and on budget while maintaining customer engagement and satisfaction.
Provide project estimated timelines and define high level project plan when needed including: implementation, infrastructure delivery, must have product requests and contingency.
Be the central point of contact accountable for the successful running of a given project as well clearly communicating the status of the project and relevant metrics to stakeholders throughout by providing status reports.
Work/Collaborate with implementation engineers to ensure successful task completion.
Coordinate with internal departments (sales, finance, customer success, infrastructure, product management, QA and development) as well as external 3rd parties (exchanges, market data, back office, etc.).
Create detailed project plans and ensure that all documents and reports are maintained and updated throughout the project (project plans, issue logs, risks, etc.).
Be responsible for project quality, communication, and issue management as well as monitor project risks and carry out risk mitigation and raise warnings to stakeholders and escalate to management when appropriate
Support successful client onboarding by ensuring the client has received training and supporting project documentation.
Facilitate internal problem/issue solving when team members seek assistance
Validating weekly time tracking as well as coordinating with finance invoicing.
Work closely with internal teams at the conclusion of a project to transition into a BAU mode.
