Department  : Trade Leadership Development
Location : Makati, Philippines

  • Helping to advance our mission of promoting sustainable global trade, you will develop and implement Trade Leadership Development projects using your exceptional organizational expertise, interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
  • The Projects Coordinator will work closely with Program Managers to understand all aspects of the program and its projects, liaise with internal and external stakeholders, and be responsible for proactive project management, results tracking and reporting.
  • You will have a passion for international relations, human development, communication and playing a key role in working with the team to develop and deliver exceptional, innovative and effective programs that have a positive impact on people and societies.

You will be responsible for ensuring most effective outcomes across the following:
Project planning & management 
  • Research and formulate project plans and thorough briefs.
  • Proactively manage projects from conceptualization to final reporting.
  • Increase efficiency using his/her attention to detail and using proven and new project management tools and approaches.

Event management 

  • Liaise with all stakeholders to ensure successful events.
  • Implement systems to anticipate and mitigate potential risks related to events.
  • Oversee events to ensure their flawless execution.
  • Prepare post-event reports and provide recommendations for future improvements.

Processes & systems development 
  • Explore, recommend and implement workflows and systems to make work of entire team more efficient.
  • Tracking, analysis & reporting
  • Ensure robust tracking systems and processes are in place to enable thorough project evaluation and analysis.
  • Proactive prepare succinct status reports and regularly brief the Program Director to keep appraised of project developments, including any actual or anticipated issues.

Program & office administration 
  • Liaise with Program Managers in preparing monthly program reports and following up on status of projects.
  • Support the Program Director in maintaining diary, scheduling internal and external meetings and appointments, and preparing meeting agenda and other correspondences.
  • Coordinate office maintenance activities and purchasing of office supplies.

Other related responsibilities :
  • Proactively explore opportunities to improve work and processes across our programs.

Requirements :
  • Education Bachelor’s degree in business, management, marketing or related disciplines.
  • Experience Five years hands-on expertise in developing and running events, managing projects with multiple stakeholders, external relations and international exposure. 
  • Marketing and communication experience are an asset. Up-to-date with programs, apps, channels and other tools of the trade.

Skills:
 Attention to detail, proactive project management skills, exceptional organization skills and resourcefulness, excellent written and spoken English, strong writing and analytical skills.
