Responsibilities:
Payroll Use Paychex (Payroll System) to do the following:
Use Paychex (Payroll System) to do the following:
. Collect and verify timecards
. Calculate pay according to hours worked incorporating leaves and overtime (US employment Laws)
. Enter expense reports for reimbursement
. Process garnishment request
. Enter changes for 401K, HSA and direct deposit changes for employees
. Process employee advances and paybacks
. Process direct deposits payments
. Run semi-monthly payroll reports
. Run Payroll reports for 401K and Worker's Compensation
. Enter and process 401K and Worker's Compensation payments
. Verify Quarterly payroll reports
. Verify W-2's at year end
HR Tasks
. Time Off Request Process - email and Paychex used
. Update Smartsheet PTO sheet and post to Basecamp
. Recruiting - reference checks, background check
. Onboarding scheduling and completion follow-up
. 3 month review scheduled, email instructions and reminders
. 401 K email notification of eligibility- forms emailed
. Summer and January reviews scheduled with Managers, employee self-evaluation sent from HR and collected then submitted to manager.
. Safety sheet maintained for expirations and email reminders sent to employees. New documents collected and filed on server.
. Continue Education forms rec, completed by hr and sent to manager for approval - funds recorded
. Open enrollment - follow up on collecting forms, payroll audit
