We are seeking for a Database Administrator that will be based in Taguig with Broad technical skills in Database, deep operational and analytical background, a team player with a positive can-do attitude and delivers result.

A professional Database Administrator (DBA) will keep the database up and running smoothly 24/7.

This is a mid-senior level position within the Regional IT Operations Support team, which requires prior experience in supporting a cloud hosting server infrastructure.

This position is responsible in maintaining Databases tasks like Install, maintain, and support Oracle / SQL database. Maintain, update, and implement database archive processes and procedures.

Extensive hands-on experience in the management, troubleshooting and maintenance of Exadata cell server (e.g. disk replacement, flash replacement), IB switches, Oracle Grid (12c and above), and Oracle RAC databases.

This specialty performs the role of System Database Administrator within the Oracle environment.

Responsibilities: • Provide 24x7 production and non-production database administration support for Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and related systems on both physical and virtual infrastructure

Preferred Qualifications Candidate must be open to working Night Shift Work with a world class team to provide enterprise-wide, Oracle Database Administration support for production systems and provide DBA services to application development teams,

Involved in the planning and development of the database, as well as in troubleshooting any issues on behalf of the users.

We are looking for a senior/architect-level DBA who will be deeply involved in tuning/optimizing the database. The employee will be deeply involved in the redesign of the database to a MongoDB NoSQL database.
