POSITION SUMMARY:

A Network Administrator is required to provide network technical support assistance and troubleshooting to all company Professionals. Assist other network administrators via escalations and collaborate on support items. Support will be provided via telephone, email and direct interaction with end users by on-desk or remote support. This support will include remote assessment and resolution of problems, proper routing and escalation of problems within the IT organization and in general a contribution to the successful use of Information Technology at the Company. This role will be based in a company office location but travel to other offices inside and outside the country may be required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Completed the required tasks to establish and maintain communications, from one inter-networking device to any other inter-networking devices on the network regardless of its location.
· Manage additional network service levels to the internal client that have special network needs and requirements.
· Coordinate and implement physical changes within the team or by leveraging other teams.
· Maintain an inventory of networking hardware, services and software.
· Utilizes the network management service to ensure the network is operating at its best performance, administering the network management station.
· Notify the proper individuals to establish and maintain communications.
· Participate in project teams.
· Control quality by tracking and analyzing process data against client requirements; obtaining feedback from the process client(s); and taking action, when required, to maintain process stability.
· Tracking calls through a computerized system.
· Implement, maintain and upgrade of network components
· Participate in the development, implementation, improvement and adherence to monitoring of network devices and applications.
· Suggest new initiatives and technologies.
EDUCATIONAL/SKILL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Qualifications:

· 4-year college degree or related experience
· 2 years of LAN experience.
· 2 years of WAN experience.
· 1 year of Data Security experience.
· Experience with Cisco hardware and technologies covering routing/switching and firewall services.
· Strong interpersonal skills, must be able to interact with personnel in multiple business roles.
· Good English verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

· Cisco certified (CCNA, CCDA or CCNP)
· Knowledge of company organization.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

· General office environment

Generally the job requires 80% sitting, 10% walking, and 10% standing. The job is performed in a generally hazard free environment.
