This is an exciting opportunity for a Back-End Developer to join our Data & Technology team. The role will design, develop and test the backend of web applications, APIs, console apps, background services, class libraries that meet the needs of the business and support our client offerings.

The role is highly collaborative and has strong support for the exploration of new ideas.
This role will work closely with senior fellows in software engineering, data engineering and science to deliver innovative data-driven applications. Opportunities to learn from others and chances of professional growth are inherently provided.
. Develop, build, review and test backend software solutions.
. Fix code bugs discovered during application's lifecycle.
. Troubleshoot application issues and provide feedback for enhancement.
. You will use your communication and self-management skills to remain a productive, integrated team member.
. Attend regular team meetings.
Skills and Experience Required:
. 3 years experience with core backend tech stack such as C# .NETCore, SQL, MySQL.
. Strong experience in database technologies such as MS SQL, Databricks, CosmosDB etc
. Strong experience with designing and building microservice and/or nanoservice architectures.
. Hands-on experience and knowledge in building RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
. Expert understanding of industry best practices and experience in Agile SDLC, SOLID principles and software design patterns.
. Very strong experience in any of the leading cloud platforms: Azure or AWS
. Experience in use of DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, SAST tools.
. Experience in use of application monitoring tools such as Application Insight or Splunk.
. Experience in integrating with 3rd party APIs and libraries.
. Strong focus on any Frontend tech stack will be an added advantage.
. Skills and knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
. Good knowledge of both relational and non-relational databases.
. Very strong problem-solving skills.
