The Role

The Mobile Applications Developer will operate predominantly on Groworx software solutions on top of cloud platforms. They will need to have mastery of mobile application development. They will thrive in an agile team with a product-centric mentality to help deliver engaging customer experiences.
As with all other software development roles in Groworx, the role involves technology consulting. To ensure success in this role, apart from solid technical skills, the ideal candidate should demonstrate excellent active listening and communication skills, good personal presentation, politeness and tact, and be able to function in a high-pressure environment. The noteworthy Mobile Applications Developer should work with a team of analysts, designers, and developers to deliver solutions that can range from simple applications to groundbreaking enterprise and B2C applications.
You will do

  • Design, Develop, Test, Deploy, Maintain, and improve top-quality mobile applications
  • Drive maintainable and reusable solutions that are both secure and adherent to acceptable performance benchmarks
  • Embrace, implement and evangelize test automation as part of the fabric of the team
  • Conduct code reviews for peers
  • Participate in the evaluation of emerging technologies and tools
  • Contribute technically to projects
  • Work closely with the Product Management, Clients, and Business Partners in defining requirements and understanding requested changes
  • Co-develop the high-level architecture and collaborate with the rest of the Global Technology Services team
  • Be responsible for planning tools to deliver solution components outlined in a road map
  • Maintain existing code base by applying fixes and enhancements

You should have

  • Preferably 4-5 Yrs and Up Experienced Employees specializing in IT/Computer - Software Development or equivalent.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and commitment to best practices
  • Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
  • Proficiency with versioning and CI/CD tools
  • Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
  • Familiarity with the use of additional sensors, such as gyroscopes and accelerometers
  • Extensive experience on bespoke and commercial API consumption will be highly regarded
  • Familiarity with cloud message APIs, push notifications, and GCP, AWS, or Azure services would be advantageous
  • For Android developers:
Apart from Java, experience developing applications with Kotlin will be highly regarded
Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen s
Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines
  • For iOS developers:
Apart from Objective-C, proficiency with Swift will be highly regarded
Extensive experience with iOS frameworks like Core Data and Core Animation
Expert grasp of iOS design principles and best practices
Knowledge of C-based libraries and iOS backend services
  • A great communicator, including excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working actively in an Agile team with a can-do attitude
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
