Job Description

The Client protects people and their profits with an all-in-one system. Incorporating traditional consulting and user-friendly technology, They have a system that serves as a one-stop solution for workplace safety compliance. 

About the Project 
They are building a marketplace style website to connect customers with tradespeople who can do work around their homes/businesses. The company is based in Brisbane, Australia and they are targeting the Australia market for the service. 

Currently there is an external contractor working on the initial requirements of this functionality. They are looking to take over the maintenance and future feature development with their own team. 

They are currently hiring some initial folks to join and shape the future of the technology team. There is a long term profitable company with related business behind the project. But this is a brand new development so a startup mindset will be crucial. Expecting the future team to be 100% remote with a mixture of Australian based and overseas based members. 

The Technology Stack 
The website has several different interface modules, i.e., client view, service provider view, admin view. There is also a separate back end services module and two mobile apps to cater for the different user types (clients and service providers). 

The successful Mobile App Developer must have the following experience and skills: 
  • Overall experience building mobile applications for Android and iOS, dealing with common support issues, app store deployments etc.
  • Experienced with Flutter preferred given our initial apps are built with this platform.
  • A good eye for usability and user experience, able to take general feature requirements and create a mobile experience.
