Messaging Engineer
Job Description
• Will be responsible for the design, implementation, support and maintenance of the messaging systems in Client’s organization. The role also includes architecting, building and scaling the messaging systems for future growth and capacity. Accountable for the day to
• Day to day delivery of messaging and archiving environment to established SLAs.
• Will be the subject matter expert on technical matters related to corporate email and archiving including but not limited to Exchange 2010/2013, Office 365, Messaging Gateways and other SMTP mail relays.
• Will be challenged to build both technical and leadership skills by taking on responsibilities for deliveries in exciting projects which are assigned based on unique competence in combination with a personal development plan.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any IT related course
• Messaging 4+ years’ experience in managing / administration of Microsoft Exchange 2007, 2010 & 2013.
• Experienced in providing Messaging Level 2/Level3 operations support for a Windows/Linux based infrastructure in CutOver migration and hybrid migration mode.
• In-depth knowledge in the following: ActiveSync, Intune, AD Connect, Powershell scripting, SSL certificate
• Solid background of Email migration to O365
• Experienced in Microsoft Exchange integration with Skype for Business
• Any of the Certifications is preferred: MCTS: Microsoft Exchange Server 2010, Configuration or MCSE: Communication OR MCITP: Exchange 2010 Messaging Solutions Administrator
• 4+ years of Active Directory administration
• ITIL certification preferred.
• Strong communication skills (including ability to probe deeply into business issues during exploratory and fact finding calls/discussions).
• Strong analytical abilities to quickly understand business issues and add to the development of corresponding solutions.
• Strong planning and organizational skills; ability to monitor multiple simultaneous project efforts.
• Understanding of networking and troubleshooting including TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP.
• High degree of initiative, self-motivation and follow through.
• Experience supporting and implementing PIP and SOX security standard.
