Job Description

Purpose of the role:

  • The Master Data Specialist is responsible for Master Data Cleansing and Standardization, Migration Activities and Improving Master Data Quality
  • The Master Data Specialist is accountable for Master Data Service Support (Maintenance) in his key domains
  • The Master Data Specialist interacts with the Global MDM Team, Master Data Governance Expert, Local Data Managers, functional Subject Matter Experts, SAP functional experts, the BI Team and external data providers like suppliers or consultants.

Key Domains

  • Product Catalog: Services, Products and Panels that are composed of produced laboratory tests, goods or services
  • Customers: B2B entities like Doctors, Hospitals or B2C entities like patients that are used in packaging the product
Key Responsibilities

  • Master Data Cleansing and Standardization: Help in harmonization and quality improvement of source master data files to enrich our global MDM core database
  • Migration Activities: Support for migration and replication into target systems (e.g. SAP or PLASMA). Use of common web based technologies or SAP basic tools for attribute updates and extracts
  • Master Data Quality: Understand that the work of MDM is measured by high-quality data (accurate, complete and reliable). Actively work within the team towards this goal
  • Service Support: Accountable for 2nd Level Master Data Incident Management (reactive); Ticket based processing in collaboration with other stakeholders
  • Other tasks/responsibilities that may be asked from time to time

  • MUST: MS Excel (Very Good Knowledge), SAP Hana (Basic Knowledge), Web Based Technologies (Basic Knowledge)
  • GOOD TO HAVE: Salesforce (Basic Knowledge), MS Access (Good Knowledge), MS SQL Server (Basic Knowledge)
