Production Assistant
The production assistant will join our in-house creative studio. We are a highly engaged, results-driven team, who provide strategic resources to the company in areas of production, design, editorial, content, and video. The team produces collateral such as ads, brochures, event graphics, html emails, technical illustrations, and presentations, and all supporting assets. The production assistant's role will primarily oversee the product photography operations for the global organization. The role will also support production management of department projects.
Essential Responsibilities
Working within our project management system, set up and assign new jobs
Contact photography requesters and communicate instructions
Communicate special photography instructions to photographer
Review product and ensure proper tagging/identification, send out for photography
QC all photos, and verify files are correctly labelled, and quality meets standards
Send photos to design team for clipping paths and file creations.
Upload photos to the digital asset management (DAM) system
Send clients the photo links and return product
Assist production coordinator, as needed, with department projects
Essential Skills
Extremely organized, detail-oriented person with strong communication skills
Ability to work on multiple projects at a time, and able to switch directions quickly
Strong written and verbal communication.
Flexible and thrives in a fast-paced team environment.
Education and Work Experience
4-year degree in business administration, graphic design, marketing, or related field.
2 years work experience with increasing responsibilities.
Technical skills
Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PPT). Light Photoshop skills desirable.
