Technical Skills: - Experience installing, configuring and maintaining computer hardware in a networked environment.
- Linux Operating Systems support experience.
- Linux Workstation and Server management experience.
- Understanding of remediating security vulnerabilities; experience hardening Red Hat, Oracle Linux, or other Opensource Systems
- Knowledgeable in Scripting
- Understanding of network concepts and protocols
- Knowledge of environmental monitoring tools (Nagios, Splunk, Zabbix, Solar Winds)
- Knowledgeable in cloud environment AWS and Azure.
- Knowledgeable VMware and ESXi (6. x or higher) configuration and management experience.

As part of our growth, your tasks will be:- Responsible for effective provisioning, OS Patches/updates, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure.
- Administers and maintains a Unix/Linux-based server network, with a combination of physical and virtual servers.
- Participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure.
- Installs, configures, troubleshoots, and maintains server-based applications running on the network including Unix/Linux Services ADLDAP.
- Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
- Assist to create, configure, and deploy all virtual machines and installing and providing backup to all configuration procedures.
- Providing overall direction for Linux system performance and enhancements.
- Perform tests on all new software and maintain patches for management services.
- Develops various scripts and utilities (mainly for user access management and for customization of the remote peripherals).
- Serve as 1st and 2nd level escalation support for operational systems.
- Serve as subject matter expert in one or more areas of Closed Area standard deployments, train, and mentor other team members
- Maintain system efficiency, data center environment, and monitoring equipment.
- Provide Tier II/other support with IT groups as per request from various constituencies and provide them with the necessary assistance. Investigate and troubleshoot issues.
