Job Description
The Lead Gen role will fulfill daily responsibilities such as:
- To act as an ambassador for the business, and promote its products and services
- To use company database to make outbound cold calls and gain potential leads on a daily basis
- Follow up on sales leads and convert the calls to new business leads
- To be proactive in identifying leads and opportunities for new business
- Manage sales tracking tools and report on important information
- To clean, input and maintain customer information onto the company database
- Work with BDMs to develop specific sales strategies
- Stay up to date with new products and feature launches and ensure sales team is on board
- Quoting & processing orders
- First point of contact with new customers
- Personal development through trainings and certifications
- Assist with completing project objectives
- Assist in outreach to customers, suppliers and vendors
- Communicate effectively across Virtu teams to ensure best outcomes
- Review pending orders and specific customers requests to ensure excellent customer service and customer experience

Qualifications And Requirements
To be successful in this role, the candidate:

- Willing and able to work from early mornings
- Proven experience as a Lead Gen/Outbound sales representative
- Hands on experience with ERP and CRM systems as well as LinkedIn social networking
- Intermediate to Advanced experience with Microsoft 365 Suite, including email
- Strong sales focus with a passion in technology and customer service
- Experience working with GP/KPI targets in a high call and email environment
- Must be detailed oriented and take pride in getting it right
- Near perfect English language phone communication skills & well presented
- A positive approach to objection handling is essential
- Experience with sales process in Australia highly regarded
- Take full accountability of their results and be self-driven to succeed
- Can work autonomously and can handle pressure well
- IT background and B2B sales experience is valued

Client is particular on:- strong B2B (entreprise scale) sales experience in IT areas experience selling IT products
- previous experience with making large numbers of outbound calls (over 100 calls a day)
- securing high numbers of opportunities from those cold calls
