Job Description


• Performs design, implementation and maintenance of single product modules/sub-systems or on lower level issues of multiple products.
• Exercises judgment within generally defined procedures, practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
• Reviews with business consultants regarding the functional business requirements
• Prepares technical documentation of product modules/sub-systems.
• Prepares & conducts the unit testing and integration testing for functionality and limits.
• Performs somewhat complex bug verification, release testing and beta support for assigned products. Researches problems discovered by QA or product support and develop solutions to the problems.
• Researches and understands the marketing requirements for a product, including target environment, performance criteria and competitive issues.
• Deliver the software according to requirements and planning.
• Designs and implements code corrections to improve the quality of the product.
• Coordinates with QA and technical support engineers when conducting defect research and maintaining the software

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or similar in software engineering or computer science.
• Typically requires 18 months to three years of technical experience in product development, implementation and product support.
• General technical knowledge in software development methodologies, design, programming and implementation.
• General analytical and design skills at single product/single environment level.
• General skills in research, project planning and implementation.
• General understanding of entire development process, including specification, documentation and quality assurance.
• General technical knowledge in Java SE, Java EE, Core Java, HTML5, JavaScript, SQL, Eclipse, SVN, CVS, Git, Windows, Linux, and application servers
• General awareness of business issues as they impact overall project plans.
• Good communications and interpersonal skills.
• Good PC skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of one or more for the position relevant technologies and concepts
• Software development experience

• General office environment.
• Low levels of stress may occur at times.
