The ITBusiness Analyst will Independently undertake projects of a complex nature and ad-hoc requests as required. They will also ensure all issues are identified, tacked, reported and resolved in a timely manner.

We are looking for someone with:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of working experience, with 1-2 years of business analyst experience
  • Understanding of key insurance processes (claims, underwriting, new business, policy administration)
  • Critical thinking – ability to challenge and ask questions on information presented
  • Risk-based thinking and prioritization of work items and project initiatives
  • Self-starter who takes ownership of deliverables
  • Strong communication and summarization skills – ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to document and communicate technical knowledge effectively.
  • Ability to envision solutions, communicate those solutions, and help form tangible outputs from those conceptual solutions.
  • Ability to interface effectively with key stakeholders – to observe, interpret, and analyze user needs
  • An intellectual curiosity that drives the person to dig into complex challenges and find ways to solve them
  • Ability to communicating complex technology subjects in layman’s terms
  • Ability to execute and implement plans and programs efficiently
  • High level of accuracy, attention to details and ability to exercise flexibility and sound judgement
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with prioritization that may change due to business or project deadlines
  • Primary: Data Leakage Prevention, Workday Late Terminations, LAR, O365 Security, Asset/inventory Management, Information Classification
  • Secondary: UDA, Reporting/KRI
  • Preferred someone with:
  • Experience with O365 security controls
  • Experience with implementation of DLP controls (O365 email, endpoint security, CASB)
  • Experience with infrastructure or assess control/management initiatives
  • Basic understanding of developer tools and environments

On the job you will:
  • Ensure issues are identified, tacked, reported and resolved in a timely manner
  • Independently undertake projects of a complex nature and ad-hoc requests as required
  • Collaborate with business units to identify opportunities, align requirements and contribute to the next steps as the team addresses the needs of the evolving industry trends
  • Precisely document and analyze workflow processes, interdependencies, applications used to complete business transactions and business requirements
  • Perform detailed deep-dive analysis and present root cause and findings in a clear and concise manner
  • Influence the prioritization of team roadmap based on the needs of the business and benefits to customers
  • Participate in design and development of pilot initiatives
  • Manage project risk through mitigation assessment and planning techniques
  • Establish and maintain basic scope control procedures for assigned initiatives
  • Initiate and maintain reporting relationships with project stakeholders including team members, peers, managers, customers, vendors, and other affected departments to coordinate efforts across multiple business units and ensure continuous efficient management of projects; gathers input and feedback
  • Provide Business Unit Security officer (BUSO) support and first level review/contact point across program streams
