Job Description

Job Responsibilities
Describe the job role and the day to day tasks involved.
Claims support:
. Claims lodgment on WinBEAT
. Claims lodgment with the Insurer
. Claims follow up with the insurer
. Providing updates on the status of claims to the client
. Ensuring timely claims outcomes for the client
Reception Overflow:
. Pickup reception overflow calls from Australian clients
. Take messages and pass onto the broker
. Regularly report on outstanding debtors
. Follow up the client on outstanding debtors (via email and phone)
. Request instruction from the insurer if payment of premium not received
Processing Support
. Client set-up and filing
. Client maintenance
. Processing (data entry) in WinBEAT/SUNRISE/SVU/OT
o Renewals
o Referrals
o Endorsements
o New Business
o Cancellations
o Premium Funding
. Data Management System:
o New File set-up
o Filing
o Notes
. Track processing status on master renewal spreadsheet
. Monitor works flow via OfficeTech task system
. Adhere to regulatory compliance processes and procedures including privacy, data security and confidentiality.
. Respond and engage with broker
. Ad hoc administrative support to broker
Describe the qualifications the staff must have in terms of skills and capabilities
. Over 2 years experience in insurance industry (ideally in broking but underwriting considered)
. Bachelor of Business or equivalent (administration, commerce, economics, finance)
Preferred Qualifications
. Tier 2 in General Insurance
. Tier 1 in Insurance Broking

. Strong communication skills to enable smooth interaction with broker and local resources

Prior Experience
Describe the prior working experience a candidate should have.
. Min 2 years Insurance broking administration experience
. Experience with both Personal Lines insurance policies (home, private motor, landlords) and Business Insurance policies (business insurance packages)
. WinBEAT broking system experience
. Sunrise Insurer Platform and Steadfast SVU platform experience preferred
. Experience in managing high volume data entry/processing
. Previous experience working with an Australian based firm
Performance Measurement
How can we measure performance for this job profile (KPIs/Metrics/Targets)
. Accuracy of processing (accuracy 95%)
. Quantity of processing completed
o All Invoicing completed within 24 hours of receiving
o New business, endorsement within 24 hours of receiving
o Cancelations/Refund form completed within 24 hours of receiving
. All applicable filing completed as actioned
Working Hours
9am - 6pm AEST
