Job Description

The Role
As an Instructional Designer, you will be part of the Groworx Academy team and will be designing and developing our learning and practicing programs. This is a great opportunity for a motivated and energetic person passionate about advancing learning experiences that facilitate acquisition of knowledge. We will provide you with the opportunity to make contributions immediately while developing the skills and knowledge to be successful.


You will do
  • Create learning activities and compelling course content
  • Work with subject matter experts to identify target audience’s training needs
  • Set instructional goals and create content that matches them
  • Visualise instructional graphics, user interface and the finished product
  • Analyse and apply the trends and best practices in learning technologies and instructional design
  • Develop and provide learning activities that enhance the learning process
  • Create supporting materials/media and assessments such as tests or quizzes to measure the effectiveness of the course
  • Development, maintenance, and deployment of key training programs
  • Design and implement training content, tools, and assessments for knowledge transfer and on-going development
  • Work with external vendors to develop web-based and instructor-led learning activities
  • Deliver new training curricula and oversee the rollout of the content
  • Optimizing training processes for efficiency
  • Reviews existing training materials produced by third parties to determine appropriateness and relevance
  • Modifies or creates course materials and training manuals to meet specific training needs
  • Schedules training sessions, organizes information technology and other equipment and manages course enrollment
  • Works with managers to address learning issues, instruction problems, or new educational needs regarding specific employees or departments
  • Specializes in a particular industry and keeps current on the activities and needs of that industry by attending regular meetings, conferences, and seminars
You should have
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in instructional design / training and development management (essential)
  • In-depth knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge of learning and development of best practices
  • A proven track record of training program development and management
  • Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio and video scripts
  • Solid experience in creating presentation and training curriculum
  • Good to have professional certification, such as Certified Professional in Training Management (CPTM)
  • Strategic and creative mindset
  • Willing to work on a shifting schedule, holidays and weekends
  • Amenable to work in Alabang
