Description

Reporting to directly to the National Operation Manager, the responsibilities include but are not limited to:
FUNCTIONAL OVERVIEW:
  1. Employee Relations
  • Represents company on Labor related cases
  • Serves termination notices
  • Counseling,grievanceand discipline for all staff
  • Conducts investigation on complaints and grievances
  • Facilitates the resolution of any employee relations problems
  • Counsels employee regarding work, family or personal problems
  • Handles grievances of the employees, in a sensible manner
  • Prepares and issues disciplinary action memorandum
  1. Performance Management
  • Ensure timely communication / execution / completion of the Performance Management Process
  • Distribution of performance evaluation forms
  • Records performance evaluation results
  • Computes performance ratings
  • Maintains performance evaluation tracking system
  • Tracks and monitors performance evaluation
  • Prepares employment documentation
  1. Compensation and Benefits Administration
  • Maintains a record of all employee movement such as promotion, regularization, and merit increase / salary adjustments
  • Handles HR Information System and 201 files
  1. Employee Engagement
  • Prepares with the relevant manager position descriptions, post jobs to jobseeker portals such as seek and indeed, shortlist candidates for interview.
  • Works with departmental managers on recruitment.
  • Conducts new hire orientation
  1. Others
  • Managing each stage of the employee lifecycle (recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, training, performance) with a focus on employee engagement and continuous improvement
  • Ensuring QSL policies comply to statutory requirements such as the Fair Work Act and relevant Awards
  • Providing timely and meaningful data and reporting to meet organisational and performance needs
  • Ensure that each employee is inducted to the system and that the system remains updated and compliant ready for the annual ISO audits
  • Update business management documentation system, procedures and policies in line with current work practices and legislation,
  • Train and distributing to staff for sign off and acceptance of policy and procedural changes.
  • Take an active role in the annual ISO audit
  • Enhancing our people services to drive efficiency, automation, and growth
  • Coordinating and assisting with the annual reviews, surveys and feedbacks
  • Planning and arranging annual reviews
  • Maintaining skills matrix in compliance with our internal policies and ISO systems
  • Coordinating and delivering training to managers and team leaders to manage for success
  • Working closely with operations and technical managers to ensure WHS and environmental compliance.

About You
To be successful in this position you will be driven, energetic, proactive and self-managed with an ability to build strong relationships at all levels. You will also be able to handle confidential information and show the right balance of compassion and strength.
We're looking for someone with the following essential skills and experience:
  • 3-4 years experience in a similar generalist HR role
  • Qualifications in HR, psychology, or related discipline
  • Knowledge of ANZ employment laws, policies and procedures
