Job Description
Performs administrative support in all aspects of Human Resources. Coordinates the implementation of multiple HR processes and compiles employee related information. Acts independently in administering, communicating, and providing regular guidance to clients on corporate and local HR policy, procedure, and guidelines. Serves as a first level escalation resource for non-routine issues brought up by others in the organization.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provides answers, solutions and recommendations for inquires related to HR processes/procedures by utilizing solutions provided by HR SMEs. (including: phone inquiries, email/web tickets, IRS responses and walk-in inquiries, follow-up/resolution of escalated tickets, etc.).
  • Identifies escalation trends and opportunities for process change and/or new solutions.
  • Undertakes all actions required by system and updates Data Base continually.
  • Investigates and resolves problems and provides solutions which may involve a network of resources.
  • Administers/advises IT navigation of supported functions – this may include requesting access, granting access and advising clients through screen navigation.
  • Performs off-phone tasks supporting HR related functions as directed.
  • Assists in identifying areas to improve communications and efficiency of operations and implementing changes.
  • Partners with clients in improving processes by recommending solutions and referrals to policies/procedures, SMEs or contracted vendors.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum 1 year equivalent work experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university
  • Knowledge of HR Policies & Procedures
  • Knowledge of HR systems is an advantage: Workday; GWN; SAP, SalesForce or other HR Systems
  • Knowledge of languages: English and Japanese (Reading, Speaking, Listening and Writing skills are necessary for this role)

The Philippines site, located at the Bonifacio Stopover Corporate Center, is the third and final Global Service Center (GSC) of 3M Company, which will bring all the advantages of the GSC model to the Asia Pacific region. It is responsible for optimizing 3M Company’s delivery of transactional services in the region, and essentially strengthens 3M Company’s operations around the world, as all three GSCs will work together to bring the highest level of service no matter where they are. 3M Service Center will partner with the other GSCs to provide around-the-clock global service. It will host activities ranging from, among others, sourcing, IT, Finance, human resources, all of which are IT-enabled.
