Job Summary
Working in a fast-paced, flexible environment alongside passionate Clients, Marketing, Communications and Creative professionals. The role will suit a team player who has very good and progressive conceptual/design skills. The Graphic Designer will support Clients & Marketing as part of a team of content developers, online specialists, creatives and marketing professionals working across AECOM's regions. The role will support the team helping raise the profile and brand recognition of AECOM with existing and potential clients, and in the broader external market, through contributing to the production of print, digital and social campaigns and materials that differentiate AECOM, showcase the breadth and depth of our capabilities, and celebrate our people and projects.
The work is focussed on the development of visual communications that ‘pop and includes:

  • The overall layout, design and production activities to produce graphic-design artwork.

  • Visual strategy execution to marketing teams and senior leaders, and delivering appropriate creative design concepts and execution for internal and external presentations and campaigns across print and digital platforms, all within AECOM's brand guidelines.

  • The graphic design of qualifications, proposals, presentations, marketing collateral and some billable deliverables.

  • Laying out bid documents, capability statements and other work winning materials

  • Designing executive presentations

  • Executing design concepts to support marketing campaigns and social media campaigns

  • Designing invitations, conference and event materials

  • Designing and executing brochures, interactive PDFs and other printed collateral

  • Designing infographics for internal and external use

  • Managing the upload and manintence of the project and staff photography library

  • The ability to provide some multimedia work including animation will be well regarded

  • Develop collateral and material processes to support marketing and communications campaigns.

  • Research and develop new ways of presenting our brand.

  • Coordinate production and distribution of printed materials.

  • Create and edit materials for large events and campaigns.

  • Support AECOM's internal photography library

  • Images are obtained through royalty-free purchase, company's image collection, and/or the incumbent will create original artwork.

  • Artwork may be created or manipulated by the graphic artists using various software projects.

Minimum Requirements

  • Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio

  • Extremely proficient in Word, PowerPoint and the Adobe Creative Suite.

  • 5+ years of experience in creative design concepts and project management.

  • Experience in developing innovative design concepts in a corporate environment.

  • Experience in taking creative briefs, following processes and procedures.

  • Proficiency in page layout and ability to create charts, tables, etc.

  • Print production experience.

  • A strong understanding and creative approach to brand identity and visual aesthetics

  • Experience in creating collaterals in different languages (Spanish & French) is preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  • Similar industry experience is preferred

  • Candidates must be open to work on a mid shift schedule
