Job Description


The Fund Accountant primarily involves owning managing the disbursement of company funds and ensuring vendors are treated as business partners.

  • Preparation of daily unit prices and update of general ledger / unit pricing system and supporting work papers.
  • Cash and Portfolio Reconciliations.
  • Monthly management accounts preparation including commentary.
  • Monthly regulatory and tax reporting (BAS etc.)
  • Quarterly compliance lodgements.
  • Assist with drafting statutory accounts including reconciliations and collating documents.
  • Multiple ad-hoc tasks including preparation of analysis in response to queries from both internal and external parties.
  • Ability to assist other teams in the organisation (E.g. fund management, operations, wider business) when required.
  • Contribute to process improvement across daily/monthly tasks.

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Accountancy or any Business related course, Certified Public Accountant is prerequisite for this role
  • Must have at least 2 years of work experience in the related field
  • Candidates with experience in Unit Pricing is preferred but not required
  • With experience in Funds Management or Financial services industries is an advantage
  • Preferably with working knowledge in PFS Paxus Fund Accounting/Sage software
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel (Advance) and must have strong English communication skills
  • Proactive with good interpersonal skills and a team player. Can able to work with conflicting deadlines and priorities.
  • Motivated, hands-on individual with initiative, an inquisitive mind and a willingness to deal with any number of tasks which need attention.
  • Must be willing to work in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, in an early morning shift
  • Target commencement date for this role is on January 2020
