They are currently ramping up their team of developers and are in search for a passionate, skillful, and self-motivated Full Stack Developer who possesses exemplary PHP technical background.
What do you do in the role
- Participation in stand-ups, grooming, story kick-offs with team
- Analysis, requirements clarification and defining acceptance criteria
- Design and development of front-end applications
- Development of middle and back-end services and APIs
- End to end delivery of work items through to deployment
How success will be measured
- Successful end to end delivery of new functionality within our software platform
- Delivery of high-quality code within our software development lifecycle
- Involvement in supporting activities including solution design, agile ceremonies, peer review, testing and deployment
What experience/qualities you need to bring with you
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science and other related field is preferred but not required
- At least 3 – 5 years of hands – on experience PHP development experience (Symfony, CodeIgniter, or similar frameworks)
- Strong JavaScript experience (React, jQuery, or Angular)
- Experience with developing API driven services
- Good working knowledge of AWS
- Git and CI/CD experience
- Experience working independently and in concert with an agile development team
- Keen attention to detail, the ability to solve complex logical problems and produce quality code
Advantageous skills or nice-to-haves:
- Specific experience with AWS services like ECS, Lambda and SQS
- Knowledge of database concepts and SQL
- Experience with Python, Java or other languages
