The successful applicant will work cross functionally with Logistics and Customer support teams to refine and automate our existing processes and create a plan to ’scale with growth’. They will have a strong analytical background and the ability to predict errors and identify trends and inconsistencies. The role will be measured on the efficiency and time saved for the business.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide analytical, forecasting, reporting, and project support to the management
Perform cost reconciliation, data analysis and process automation
Ensuring accurate closing of books
Develop and maintain key reporting metrics and business analysis to provide transparency
Developing and delivering ad hoc analysis as required
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Solid experience in cost management, budgeting and financial planning & analysis
- Must have extensive experience working in an online ecommerce business or ecommerce logistic supplier
- Must have knowledge of commerce business to consumer logistics (carriers rate structures, surcharges and other tariffs)
- Strong working knowledge of Excel, reporting tools and financial modeling
- Can work under pressure and a fast –paced environment
- Prior experience in leading a team
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem solving skills
