Job Summary
Job Description:
1. Coordinating, monitoring and reporting on a full remit of
digital marketing and social campaigns, with a particular focus on content
marketing, social media marketing, and digital marketing including SEO/SEM
initiatives
2. Developing and executing innovative and engaging lead generation programs and
monitoring / reporting on their with recommendations for improvement / key
learning as appropriate
3. Coordinating internal and external communications programs, including updating
and innovating the Hive, corporate websites, related microsites, and eNewsletters
4. Foster Energy Action's voice and tone in the marketplace by developing
appropriate content in line with this voice to ensure brand consistency
5. You are required to perform your duties in accordance with our Code of Conduct,
various policies, procedures and this job description which may change from time
to time in consultation with you
Duties:
1. Develop and execute digital and social tasks to underpin the digital marketing
components of the communications plan and/or campaign calendar aiming to enhance
brand awareness and generate leads within appropriate target markets. Complete
follow up reviews into effectiveness with appropriate recommendations or actions
for improvement.
2. Assisting with the development, and executing of the Company's online presence,
including but not limited to social media and online / digital marketing
initiatives. This includes the creation of dedicated landing pages, lead magnet
content and campaign automation strategies.
3. Managing any relationships with external digital agencies and monitoring our
online advertising spend (Google Adwords / LinkedIn Campaigns) as well as boosting
posts on LinkedIn and Facebook as appropriate to generate leads or improve
engagement. Expectation for in depth analysis and reporting using Google Analytics
and other tools to derive recommendations for improvements
4. Being the primary curator of content and editorial copy - online and offline
(such as case studies, newsletter articles and video productions), fulfilling
daily updates and maintenance to the company's websites as required and sourcing
third party content or designing our own enterprise content or repurposing
existing content do generate leads and increase engagement.
5. Researching, suggesting and implementing:
a. Process improvement recommendations
b. Opportunities to bring innovation to the marketing function
c. Best practice marketing solutions to solve marketing issues.
6. Assisting in components of larger projects (primarily with a digital / brand /
PR focus) with direction from energy consultants, middle and executive management.
7. Performing ad hoc administrative duties, including preparation of media
releases, webinars, market updates, brand presentations, database management,
written correspondence and word processing.
Essential Skills:
. Excellent written and verbal communication skills combined
with an ability to liaise at all levels both internally and externally.
. Strong attention to detail, proofreading and analytical prowess.
. Superior project, time and budget management skills.
. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint & Excel
. Basic to intermediate knowledge of HTML, particularly in relation to email
marketing and web design
. Experience with website CMSs, Google Analytics, SEM PPC Platforms and social
media management platforms such as Buffer or Hootsuite
. Email campaign automation experience particularly Click Dimensions
. Extensive knowledge of, and keen interest in, latest digital marketing and B2B
social media trends.
. Understanding of SEO best practice and implementation.
. Ability to apply creative thinking and exceptional problem solving skills.
. Ability to act on initiative and take responsibility.
. Minimum 2 years experience in Marketing Communications, Digital Marketing
and/or Public Relations - agency or client-side
. Demonstrated experience in managing digital marketing campaigns, with particular
focus on lead generation and social engagement
. Experience in B2B or professional service organisation
. Demonstrated experience in copywriting of technical subject matter
With at least 2 years demonstrated experience in developing, monitoring, and
managing digital marketing campaigns, and pay-per-click advertising programs, you
