Job Description

As a member of the Web Development Team, you will apply your expertise in all aspects of web development system administration. You will support, manage, and continuously improve the production and development systems and processes to ensure the scalability, stability, and security of our websites and development practices.
You will develop tools and manage infrastructure in specific areas of:
  • Web servers management and administration (Linux OS, Apache and Nginx servers)
  • Support build and release environments, maintenance, and enhancement
  • Tools automation
  • Configuration management
  • Network security administration
To be successful in this role, you must have:
  • DevOps mindset
  • Experience in being a Software Developer / Software Engineer
  • You have superior skills in one or more of these: C# .Net, Java, Python, or PHP
  • Experience in web servers (Apache HTTP/Nginx/Apache Tomcat/Node.js)
  • Strong database administration skills (MySQL/NoSQL/MongoDB)
  • Experience in supporting applications that use in-memory data structure (Redis or Memcached)
  • Excellent Linux/Unix server administration skills (Experience in CentOS, Ubuntu is highly preferred)
  • Knowledgeable in managing GIT or any similar source control repository (Experience in using BitBucket is highly preferred)
  • Experience in setting up and improving server and application monitoring solutions (Zabbix, Nagios, etc.)
  • Excellent skills in shell or other scripting languages
  • Ability to create automation tools – build and deploy (Deployer, Chef, Puppet, Jenkins, etc.)
  • Knowledge of, and ability to implement cloud server solutions
  • Experience in implementing network and application security solutions (DDOS protection)
