Job Description

  • You will be leading Software Development teams managing Developers and Quality Engineers.
  • You and the Manila team will have the overall responsibility for the development and maintenance of the company's Access Product Lines. Teams are involved in all phases of the system development life cycle including design, implementation, test, and deployment to Azure cloud.
  • Your role will be to build a high-performing team that is committed to developing and maintaining the company's Access Product Lines. We expect you to be like a playing coach and the time split between management and development work.
  • You will report directly to the Group Head of Digital Commercial Solutions.
  • Design architecture and solution of new software, extensions of existing software
  • Provide software development platform and tools chain
  • Manage and continuously improve the processes in order to be compliant of ISO 27001
  • Provide 3rd level support if needed
  • Continuous evaluation of upcoming technologies to anticipate changes for tasks above
  • Provide Software development guidelines for Software projects done with / by the team
  • Consulting and requirements engineering for all Software related products/projects
  • Driving automatization in testing
Cross-Functional Responsibilities:
  • Managing the teams in DevOps, focusing on mentoring, resource allocation, demand management, risk management, quality management, incident management and release management.
  • Manage teams to establish DevOps development and deployment pipeline
  • Manage teams to maintain and improve Identity Server, Multi-factor authentication and Automated Tests
  • Motivate team members to deliver outstanding sophisticated solutions
  • Implementing high traffic, highly efficiently scalable and secure solutions
  • Manage Airline Integration with Medical Diagnostics
  • Manage GDPR compliance and other certifications like Health Data Hosting (HDS) France Certification
  • Manage requirements for SARS-CoV-2 Tests platform both Web and Mobile for the entire Europe and Southern America.
Area of responsibility: Europe and Southern America

Qualifications:
  • Leadership and managerial experience from similar software development teams.
  • Expert in implementation and coaching of Agile and Scrum; facilitating scrum meetings, maintaining kanban board and Product Backlog refinement.
  • Passion about software development with minimum 10 years relevant experience
  • Good knowledge about CI/CD preferable in Azure environment
  • Very broad and deep knowledge of technology stack and state of the art software development craftmanship
  • Good written and communication skills
  • Proficient in handling Project Management tools like Jira and Confluence
