Follow the organization’s policies, process and procedure • Manage the user’s expectations • Provide a clear communication between the customers and IT organization. • Contribute the knowledge creation and maintenance • Manage compliments and complaints relating to IT service issues • Represents the IT organization and the service desk in a professional manner • Consistently deliver quality customer service • Knowledge sharing • Accurate is documenting all service desk interactions • Provide appropriate support to resolve all service desk interactions • Ensure that IT support SLA’s and service expectations are met • Deployment, installation and configuration of PC, laptop and printers. • Provide assistance on standard applications and specialized software. • Hardware problem troubleshooting/escalation and replacement of defective parts. • Network connection configuration, testing and basic troubleshooting. • Regular health checkup on PC desktop/laptop (defragmentation/patches/virus updates) • Regularly updates on the status of assigned service request or incident. • Report and update helpdesk on the incident or service request encounter beyond the assigned service request. • Escalate problem that requires immediate attention to helpdesk, team leader or the appropriate authority.
