Job Description

  • Development and support of extract, transform and load (ETL) programs for data conversion.
  • Process and execute change requests as an output of the data review and data cleansing processes.
  • Provide data mapping support for Polaris deployments within the process areas.
  • Assist in analysis, escalation and resolution of data mapping questions and issues.
  • Ensure the quality of the AP374 Data Mapping documents, working closely with the local Business Data SMEs and Technical SMEs.
  • Understand the Data Reporting Dashboard (DRD) and coordinate required actions/changes.
  • Share technical support and guidance to broader ETL team on use of ETL tools.
  • Contribute to improvements within the technical processes supporting the overall ETL environment.
  • Assist in the creation of data mapping deliverables, project and resource plans.
  • Work with cross-functional teams from different businesses and various countries.
  • Ensure work is being completed in compliance with defined processes
Basic Qualifications:
  • Proficiency with data conversion concepts, ETL tool and SQL.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in Data Conversion development.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience documenting requirements for data migration and/or data mapping processes.
  • Proficiency with MS Excel, MS Access/VBA and/or C#.
  • Experience with scheduling solutions such as Redwood Scheduler.
  • Experience working with SAP Business Objects Data Services (BODS).
  • Experience working with SAP and understanding of SAP data model.
  • Experience working with service management and issue management tools such as ITSM, JIRA.
  • Experience working with geographically disbursed teams on projects.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent facilitative, interpersonal, written and team collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment while juggling multiple priorities simultaneously

The Philippines site, located at the Bonifacio Stopover Corporate Center, is the third and final Global Service Center (GSC) of 3M Company, which will bring all the advantages of the GSC model to the Asia Pacific region. It is responsible for optimizing 3M Company’s delivery of transactional services in the region, and essentially strengthens 3M Company’s operations around the world, as all three GSCs will work together to bring the highest level of service no matter where they are. 3M Service Center will partner with the other GSCs to provide around-the-clock global service. It will host activities ranging from, among others, sourcing, IT, Finance, human resources, all of which are IT-enabled.
