Job Description:
  • Responsible for identifying and mitigating operational risks and issues that directly impact the Shopee platform
  • Works with functional leads in the implementation of new policies, processes, and other changes, ensuring they improve the business
  • Develops and executes reactive and proactive issues management plans for the different functional teams in Shopee
  • Recognizes and manages risks, putting in place necessary mitigation plans and communicating to stakeholders
  • Works together with the Corporate Communications team in developing communication plans to educate key stakeholders on policies, processes, and other changes that impact the organization

  • Bachelor's degree holder preferably in Business Management, Business Administration, Organizational Communication, Marketing, or related fields
  • With 3 to 5 years relevant work experience in developing efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex problems
  • Thorough understanding and comprehensive knowledge of the business and the landscape it operates in
  • Background in eCommerce, Fintech, or a tech startup is an advantage
  • Hands on experience in operational risk, crisis management or business process audit is preferred, but not required
  • Aptitude to comfortably provide command and control situations
  • Initiative-driven and has an entrepreneurial spirit with a flexible and committed approach to the job
  • Ability to stay calm and work well under pressure
  • Embraces challenges and sees these as opportunities in driving business impact
  • Has a knack for solving puzzles and coming up with out of the box solutions to difficult tasks
