downloadable content that represents the company voice, with a primary focus on blogs
and social media posts aimed at expanding our company's digital footprint, awareness,
subscribers, and leads. This role requires a high level of creativity, attention to detail, and

Overview
Marketing content is the backbone of inbound marketing including blogs, social media, lead
generation, etc. We need a dedicated, specialised marketing person that can join our team.
This person will form part of our head office marketing team, reporting to the Sales and
Marketing Coordinator. They will be responsible for producing regular and engaging
marketing content for our social visitors on both our web and social channels, that convert
and provide us with the contact information we require to segment, nurture and convert
them into customers.
Job Summary

subscribers, and leads. This role requires a high level of creativity, attention to detail, and
project management skills.
Responsibilities and Duties
. Writing various types of articles on a wide range of topics for our blog.
. Drive consistent, relevant traffic and leads from our social network presence.
. Optimizing content for search engines and lead generation.
. Contributing to long-form content projects such as ebooks, webinars etc.
. Conducting analytical projects to improve blog strategies/tactics.
. Growing blog subscribers, converting visitors into leads, and expanding our blog's overall
reach.
. Work alongside our SEO Marketing Specialist and Sales and Marketing Coordinator to
help distribute and implement an annual content plan that educates and entertains our
audience and supports our marketing goals. The plan will need to be approved by the
Marketing Manager and should include as a minimum
. Produce and publish Blog content on an ongoing basis to support and
promote our offers and to attract site visitors through search, social
media, and email subscribers, that also addresses our customer's needs,
wants and problems.
. Create 1-2 free resources each month to drive leads, subscribers,
awareness, and/or other important metrics (examples include ebooks,
whitepapers, infographics, guides, templates, etc.).
. Create shareable content appropriate for specific networks to spread
both our brand and our content e.g. producing a minimum of 5 social
media posts aligned to the content produced in the Blogs and Free
resources content
. Participate in internal marketing planning sessions and communicate with the marketing
team any ideas, roadblocks and opportunities that you have identified
. Collaborate with internal experts to produce relevant content that meets the needs of
both key stakeholders and our audience.
. Prepare email blasts and newsletters to send to customers as required
. Set up and maintain tracking systems to monitor content activities, engagement and
outcomes
. Monitor and track competitor activities
. Attend and participate in regular weekly, monthly and quarterly review meetings -
making recommendations on your findings and performance.
. This role is at the core of the marketing team, and others will rely on your work every
single day.
Required Skills
. Bachelor degree preferably Marketing and or Business Administration with 2+ years
experience in a marketing role
. Excellent organizational skills to work independently and manage projects with many
moving parts.
. 2-3 years of marketing and content creation experience for the web, blogs,
Instagram Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
. Past experience building audiences either online or offline.
. A dual-minded approach: You're highly creative and an excellent writer but can also
be process-driven, think scale, and rely on data to make decisions.
Highly desirable attributes
. Strong market research practices and techniques
. Proactive, highly motivated and flexible
. Highly organised and attention to detail
. Experienced with MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
. Experience working with Western companies (preferred)
