The RoleAs a
Compliance Assurance Officer, you will be responsible for conducting Compliance Testing for Financial Crime Compliance General Regulations and is directly responsible for implementing standards for testing methodologies, techniques, and procedures.
How you'll contribute - Test adequacy of controls in place within the business and identify potential and actual breaches.
- Escalate regulatory breaches to compliance Senior Management in order that the appropriate action can be undertaken to rectify.
- Manage the planned production, delivery, and completion of compliance monitoring plans.
- Produce and issue Monitoring Reports and MI to both Business and Senior Management, relevant to Compliance Monitoring and Review.
- Ability to support decisions with sound reasoning ability to clearly articulate business and regulatory implications of analysis and findings.
- Maintain awareness of operational risk within the assigned portfolio and minimize the likelihood of it occurring including its identification, assessment, mitigation, and control, loss identification, and reporting.
What we're looking for - Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, Economics, Legal Management, or any related course
- Have at least 4 years experience in Compliance, Regulatory Compliance, Audit, Risk Management
- Preferably a Certified AML Specialist/ Certified Sanctions Specialist/ Certified Internal Auditor
- Must have experience in compliance, audit, risk covering multiple
- Knowledge of key current regulatory change initiatives and impacts on business
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both Compliance and Business
- Ability to support decisions with sound reasoning.
- Ability to clearly articulate business and regulatory implications of analysis and findings.
- Highly motivated self-starter with proven ability to work collaboratively within teams and to deliver on time.
