Job Description

  • Provide systems administration, monitoring, and system maintenance on of Citrix and RDS server farms on a 24/7 basis
  • Performs regularly scheduled preventive maintenance and remote server administration tasks
  • Diagnosis and troubleshoot problems related to the OS, hardware, network, and related software
  • Monitor, baseline, and trend for key server resources such as CPU, Memory, and Storage
  • Administration of Citrix and RDS server farms including service packs and hotfix installation
  • Accomplishes server builds, software upgrades, patch installations, firmware upgrades and health checks on a periodic basis
  • Automate server deployments including client related software
  • Manage malware protection
  • Manage Active Directory tasks like group policies, OU and user group management
  • Create automation scripts to automate daily and periodic tasks
  • Update CMDB / asset management and license management reporting
  • Continually improve personal knowledge and skills relevant to current duties, through on the job experience, self-directed research or formal training
  • Works in shifts and takes part in the on-call duty
  • 7 years of client workplace administration experience Citrix and Windows Clients
  • 5 years experience in software packaging - Microsoft SCCM, Intune, Ivanti DSM
  • Administration of Windows 10, Server 2016/2019
  • Administration of Active Directory, deployment of GPOs
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills in complex environments
  • Proficiency in OS and application software deployment automation, O365 software rollout
  • Proficiency in Citrix / Microsoft RDS infrastructure including XenApp, XenDesktop, Storefront, NetScaler
  • Base knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, load balancing solutions, and 2-factor authentication
  • Base Knowledge of VMware based infrastructure
  • Experience with PowerShell and scripting
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong documentation skills
