Job Summary
The Campaign Execution Specialist is responsible for the design, quality assurance (QA), execution, maintenance, and reporting for automated marketing programs and email distribution within the marketing automation platform (currently, Eloqua). This person will provide operational support, in the development and execution of multi-channel, multi-touch, and nurturing campaigns to enable significant demand generation pipeline expansion and accelerated revenue growth. This Campaign Execution Specialist is the primary contact for demand generation and regional marketing teams in support of product and industry activities, ranging from tactical to large-scale, integrated marketing campaigns. He/She will deploy global, Americas region, and some country-specific campaigns, as needed to support the business objectives, providing best practice consultation and results follow up as it relates to email performance, efficiency, and overall Eloqua campaign execution.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the demand generation, regional, and industry teams throughout the planning and execution of email marketing efforts using Eloqua
  • Build and deliver integrated marketing campaigns and activities according to business priorities and demand generation plans
  • Work with teams to translate marketing requirements into functional email campaigns within marketing automation and CRM systems
  • Assist in the technical conceptualization of demand creation, nurturing and scoring program strategies
  • Execute and optimize audience segmentation for campaigns within the automation platform, based on contact attributes and digital behaviors
  • Optimize email deliverability using available toolset
  • Create nurturing programs to support the marketing organization
  • Set up and make available all global campaigns for use in all regions and countries, working with regional teams, as needed for local deployment
  • Create emails, forms and reports, including designs for use by others within the marketing function
  • Alter html source code using an html editor (Dreamweaver or similar) and ensure images render properly in the design by editing (Photoshop or similar)
  • Work with Digital team to create landing pages and microsites
  • Provide input to all campaign execution processes, programs and procedures
  • Consult in development of demand generation strategies based on past experience with execution
  • Champion and support global Marketing Resource Management capabilities as subject matter expert.
  • Monitor and report on effectiveness metrics related to tactics and programs managed by the Teradata platform and related applications
  • Work closely with operations team to define and implement new functionality and product offerings
  • Continuously analyze operational process to find and implement new efficiencies
  • Continuously drive innovation tied to campaign execution within Teradata
  • Bachelor's degree in related field and 3&plus years marketing experience with emphasis on marketing automation
  • Two or more years of experience with set up and execution of multi-channel, multi-touch marketing automation-based campaigns using Eloqua
  • One or more years of experience in demand creation related activities (email, trade shows, search engine optimization/search engine marketing, event marketing)
  • Experience with a plus
  • Experience working with business owners in defining campaign requirements
  • Intermediate HTML knowledge
  • Advanced experience creating emails, landing pages, forms and reports
  • Strong data evaluation skills, with the ability to extract and interpret data from various sources to offer creative marketing solutions and business decisions
  • Strong project management capabilities, including the ability to accurately specify project time frames, dependencies and risk factors
  • Ability to work effectively with people, to gain internal respect and build consensus with superiors and peers
  • Strong and insightful operational skills with the ability to present marketing results to internal clients
  • Strong oral/written presentation skills
  • Ability to execute quickly and with high-quality while handling multiple tasks in a fast paced environment requiring project prioritization
  • Experience operating in a shared services model with proven ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments and priorities
